Due to moving our library and to the switch towards the new 'swisscovery' system, the ILL service
is suspended from 8 November 2020 to 31 January 2021.
All interlibrary loans should be returned before 1 December 2020.

Charges
The interlibrary loan (ILL) is reserved for books not owned by the library. Moreover, requests for books located in other libraries in Mendrisio are not accepted.
As written in the regulations, only a limited number of active interlibrary loans is permitted. The library may delay the reader's request until he/she check in one or more of his/her current interlibrary loans.
The reader is responsible for checking that the library does not own the desired document, and he/she must fill in the form relying on data verified on an appropriate research tool (library catalogue, metacatalogue, etc. See the Sbt catalogue, or the More catalogues page). Incomplete or ambiguous requests shall not be fulfilled.
Arrival delays vary from one lending library to the other. On average, we expect requested documents to arrive after five working days.
